The first 20 steps before you start to dig the hole for your new home

  1. You select the land
  2. You will then select basic concept plan.
  3. Builder takes the info from 1 & 2 above and tries to make this work in a concept drawing. This takes about 30 hours on average.
  4. You accept the concept drawing or at the least 95% acceptance.
  5. Builder the proceeds to complete the drawing. 30 - 40 more hours
  6. Builder meets with us and fine tunes the drawings and drafts the specifications.
  7. Redraft based on our meeting.
  8. You will then sign off on changes.
  9. Builder takes the drawings, drafts specification and creates a proposal.
  10. Send proposal to the builder’s agent for their perusal and agreement.
  11. Builders agent sends the proposal to us for your perusal and agreement.
  12. I present proposal to you for review.
  13. We meet and review in detail and get acceptance.
  14. Sometimes, not always, you may want to meet with the builder, if more detail is required
  15. Builder prepares Appendix B based on the proposal
  16. Builders send Appendix B to their agent for her perusal and agreement.
  17. They send to us for your perusal and agreement.
  18. We prepare the Purchase & Sales Agreement
  19. We meet with the Builder for a thorough review and acceptance.
  20. We sign off on agreement of purchase and sale, provide the deposit and away we go.
